Brent Crude Rises Amid Russia-Ukraine Talks and OPEC Meeting
Brent crude oil prices went up on Friday because people are watching two big things.
First, the US is trying to help Russia and Ukraine talk about peace.
Russian President Putin said he's ready to talk but also said Russia is ready to fight if needed.
Second, a group called OPEC+ is having a meeting on Sunday to talk about how much oil to produce.
Some people think if the peace talks go well, there might be fewer rules on Russian oil, which could help supply more oil to the world.
Other things like zinc, dhaniya, and turmeric were also being traded, with some prices going up and some going down.
Brent crude oil futures rose to $63.03, up 0.25%, on Friday morning.
Russian President Putin expressed readiness for peace talks with the US over Ukraine but emphasized Russia's preparedness to fight if necessary.
Markets are awaiting the OPEC+ meeting on Sunday to discuss output levels and long-term capacity reviews.
December zinc futures on MCX increased by 0.53%, while December turmeric futures decreased by 0.84%.
December dhaniya contracts on NCDEX rose by 0.72%.
