Supreme Court to hear plea for time-bound NDPS probes Monday

Supreme Court to hear plea for time-bound NDPS probes Monday

The Supreme Court of India is the highest court in the country, like the head teacher for all other courts.

A lawyer named Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay has asked the Supreme Court to help fight people who sell dangerous drugs.

Drugs can make people very sick and hurt whole families.

The lawyer says that when drug cases go to court, they take too long to finish.

He wants police and labs to send their reports on time and follow the same rules everywhere.

He also wants special courts so drug cases can be decided quickly.

The lawyer asks the government to take away houses and money that drug sellers got from their crimes.

Last year, drug cases increased a lot and police found tons of drugs.

The Supreme Court will talk about this important problem on Monday and decide what to do to keep people safe.
