BRS leader slams Congress government for neglecting farmers

A former leader named Gandra Venkat Ramanareddy is upset with the state government.

He used to be an elected member of the assembly.

He belongs to a political group called BRS.

He says the Congress government is not helping farmers.

Farmers' crops need water, but there has not been enough rain.

He asked the government to release water from a big project called Devadula.

He says not enough water pumps are running to bring water to the fields.

He also spoke about a plan to move water from Ramappa to a tank called Ganapuram.

The previous government approved money for it, but the new government stopped the work.

He wants the government to help farmers and pay pensions on time.
