Pakistani Lawn Bowler and Chef Competes in Commonwealth Games

Mohammed Ayub Qureshi is a 67-year-old man from Pakistan who loves two things: playing lawn bowls and cooking delicious food.

He owns a restaurant in Glasgow, Scotland, called Alishan Tandoori, where he serves tasty South Asian dishes like Rogan Josh.

Recently, he competed in the Commonwealth Games in the men's singles lawn bowls event.

Even though he lost to a Scottish player named Jason Banks, he showed great sportsmanship by inviting Banks to his restaurant for a meal.

This gesture was loved by many and showed the friendly spirit of the games.

Qureshi has been living in Glasgow for over 50 years and has represented Pakistan in previous Commonwealth Games as well.

He is known for his skill in both cooking and lawn bowls, which require precision and patience.
