Alexander-Arnold and Palmer Return to England Squad for Nations League
England’s football team has announced its players for the Nations League matches.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Cole Palmer are returning to the team.
Alexander-Arnold last played for England in June 2025.
Palmer was not selected for the team that reached the World Cup semi-finals.
Three other players, Rio Ngumoha, Alex Scott and Jarrad Branthwaite, were also selected.
Some players who were in the World Cup squad were left out this time.
England will first play Spain at Wembley on September 26.
They will then play the Czech Republic and Croatia during the same international camp.
Coach Thomas Tuchel said the selection gives Alexander-Arnold a chance to win back his place on the right side.
