Azul Airlines Aims for Profit by 2026 Post-Bankruptcy
Azul, a Brazilian airline, is getting help from United and American Airlines to recover from bankruptcy.
They plan to make money again by 2026.
They will focus on flying within Brazil and to the US, especially for the World Cup.
The airline will have less debt and new planes, which will help them grow stronger.
Brazilians love traveling to the US, so they don't expect any problems there.
Azul SA expects to turn a profit by 2026 after exiting Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The airline has reduced over $2.6 billion in debt and secured $950 million in new equity investments from United and American Airlines.
