UAE Health Shifts Birth, Death Certificate Issuance to Local Bodies
UAE Health Ministry ends birth and death certification service: What you need to know · The Times of India

The UAE's Ministry of Health (MoHAP) has stopped issuing birth and death certificates.

Now, different health authorities handle them based on where you live.

If you live in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, or Fujairah, you'll go through Emirates Health Services (EHS).

Dubai and Abu Dhabi will use their own local health authorities.

Birth certificates require parent IDs and a birth notification.

Death certificates need the deceased's ID and a death report.

Certificates can be used internationally after attestation.
