Maharashtra Addresses Stray Dog and Leopard Attacks
The Maharashtra government is having special meetings to talk about two big problems: stray dogs and leopards attacking people.
There are a lot of stray dogs in cities like Mumbai, but not enough places to keep them safe.
Some people in the government say they need more shelters and to follow the rules from the Supreme Court.
Other people are upset and say the government needs to do something fast because even they are not safe from the dogs.
Some people also say that animal lovers are making the problem worse.
The government promised to have a meeting to figure out what to do.
At the same time, there are also a lot of leopards attacking people in places like Pune and Nashik.
Some people in the government want to move the leopards to other places or even give farmers guns to protect themselves.
The government is also thinking about giving goats to the leopards so they don't come into towns.
The government is trying to find a way to keep people safe and also take care of the animals.
