Paper Leak Cases Await Fast-Track Court After Judge Transfer
A special judge named Anu Grover Baliga will look at a big case about a leaked exam paper for NEET-UG 2026.
He will also look at other exam fraud cases, like a 2003 test, a 2023 nursing test, and a 2024 teaching test.
A judge named Neetu Nagar was moved to a different court, so the cases are now with a different judge.
The police and the CBI (a crime agency) are investigating these leaks.
The court has not yet finished hearing all the cases, so they will keep meeting to decide what to do.
Special Judge Anu Grover Baliga will hear the CBI’s 20,000‑page NEET‑UG 2026 chargesheet in a fast‑track court.
Judge Baliga’s court is also set to take other exam‑fraud cases, including the 2003 CAT, 2023 AIIMS NORCET‑4, and 2024 UGC NET leaks.
The 2003 CAT leak case, involving 125,000 candidates, has been delayed by Judge Neetu Nagar’s transfer to the National Green Tribunal and now sits with a link judge.
The 2023 AIIMS NORCET‑4 leak, affecting about 90,000 candidates, was transferred to the fast‑track court after ACJM Neetu Nagar’s deputation to the NGT.
The 2024 UGC NET leak case, involving 9 lakh candidates, saw the CBI file a closure report that the court rejected, and the case is pending further hearing.
