Moldova Closes Russian Cultural Centre
Moldova's government decided to close a Russian cultural center in their capital, Chisinau.
They believe this center could be used to spread ideas that are not good for Moldova's safety.
Most of the people in the government agreed to close it, but it will stay open until 2026 because of some legal rules.
The president of Moldova, Maia Sandu, wants Moldova to join the European Union and has been saying that Russia is trying to cause problems in Moldova.
Russia says Moldova is being unfair to them.
There was also a problem with some drones flying into Moldova's airspace, which Moldova says is a big problem, but Russia's ambassador is not sure about it.
Moldova's Parliament voted to close the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Chisinau.
Fifty-seven members of the 101-seat assembly supported the measure.
The centre will remain open until July 2026 due to legal considerations.
President Maia Sandu has been pushing for Moldova to join the European Union by the end of the decade.
Russia-friendly opposition parties argue the government has not provided evidence of unlawful activity.
