Five Earth Science Institutes Merged Under Single Umbrella
The Ministry of Earth Sciences in India has combined five of its autonomous research institutes into one big group called the Earth System Sciences Council.
This is to help them work together better and solve big problems like climate change.
The institutes will still do their own work but will be managed as one.
This change might mean some staff can move between institutes and money can be shared more easily.
