Hanwha Ocean Secures $1.75 Billion LNG Carrier Order

Hanwha Ocean, a company in South Korea, just got a big order from Europe.

They will make seven special ships that carry liquefied natural gas (LNG) for $1.75 billion.

This is part of a bigger plan where they have already ordered 51 ships worth $9.83 billion this year.

Hanwha Ocean is also buying a Norwegian company called Seam AS, which makes electric systems for ships.

This helps Hanwha Ocean make ships that are better for the environment.

Another company, HD KSOE, also got an order for four container ships worth $466.2 million.

These ships will be delivered by the second half of 2028.
