Brahmin Federation Seeks Five-Acre Prakasam Statue in Amaravati

A Brahmin community organization wants a statue built in Amaravati.

Its state president, Konuru Satish Sarma, made the request.

He wants the statue to stand on five acres of land.

The statue would honor Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu.

Sarma said Prakasam was an important leader during India’s freedom struggle.

He also said Prakasam stood up to British rulers.

Sarma recalled that Prakasam gave his personal assets to the nation.

He paid tribute to Prakasam’s sacrifices and service.
