VinFast Plans Two India-Specific EVs After Cost Shift
VinFast is a car company from Vietnam that wants to sell more electric cars in India.
It is now planning two cars made especially for Indian buyers.
The cars are temporarily named VF X and VF Y. The company changed its plan because making some existing models cheaply enough was difficult.
VinFast wants Indian suppliers to help control costs from the beginning.
One planned car may cost less than $12,000.
