PAN-Aadhaar Linking Deadline Ends Today
Taxpayers in India have until 31 December 2025 to link their PAN (Permanent Account Number) with their Aadhaar card.
If they miss this deadline, their PAN will become inoperative, which means they can't use it for important things like filing taxes, opening bank accounts, or making big purchases.
To link the cards, people need to go to the income tax e-filing website, enter their PAN and Aadhaar numbers, and pay a fee of Rs 1,000.
If someone misses the deadline, they can still reactivate their PAN within 30 days by paying the same fee.
It's important to do this on time to avoid problems with taxes and other government services.
