India to Host Historic 2026 International Fleet Review
India is going to host a very big event called the International Fleet Review in 2026.
It will happen in Visakhapatnam, a city on the east coast of India, from February 15 to 25.
Many countries will send their warships and leaders to this event.
India has been doing these reviews since 1953, and this one will be special because it will show off India's own ships, like the INS Vikrant, which is India's first aircraft carrier made in the country.
The president of India, Droupadi Murmu, will be there to look at the ships.
This event is also about making friends with other countries and showing that India is important in keeping the seas safe.
There will be other events happening at the same time, like Exercise MILAN, where navies from different countries will practice together.
It's like a big party on the water where everyone works together to keep the oceans safe and happy.
India will host the International Fleet Review 2026 in Visakhapatnam from 15 to 25 February 2026.
The event will feature warships, delegations, and naval leaders from dozens of countries, coinciding with Exercise MILAN 2026 and the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) Conclave of Chiefs.
India's fleet review tradition began in 1953, with the first Presidential Fleet Review in Bombay (now Mumbai).
The 2026 edition will showcase indigenous platforms like INS Vikrant, Visakhapatnam-class destroyers, Nilgiri-class stealth frigates, and Arnala-class corvettes.
President Droupadi Murmu will conduct the review on 18 February off RK Beach, followed by an International City Parade.
