CBSE Introduces Two-Board-Exam Policy for Class 10
In 2026, the CBSE will allow Class 10 students to take the board exams twice a year.
The first exam will be in February, and the second in May.
Students can use the second exam to improve their scores in up to three subjects.
This change aims to reduce stress and help students learn better.
Schools will also focus more on understanding concepts rather than just memorizing.
The results of the first exam will be out in April, and the second exam results in June.
Students who pass the first exam can use the second exam to improve their scores, while those who fail can take the second exam to pass.
