Ghamasaan: Dhulia’s New Dacoit Western Premieres at Mumbai Film Festival
Tigmanshu Dhulia, a famous Indian filmmaker, made a new movie called Ghamasaan.
It is about a brave policeman and a dangerous bandit in the Bundelkhand region.
The film looks like a Western movie, with wide shots and a lot of action.
It finished filming in 2023 and was shown for the first time at the Mumbai Film Festival in 2024.
After the festival, people can watch it on the online service Zee5.
Dhulia has made other movies about real people, like Paan Singh Tomar, and he says this film is a mix of hunter and hunted.
He faced many delays, which is common for his projects.
The story was based on a real dacoit and written by Piiyush Singh and Ram Yash Singh.
The film shows how Dhulia likes to make movies that are both exciting and thoughtful.
Tigmanshu Dhulia’s 2024 film Ghamasaan, a dacoit Western, stars Pratik Gandhi and Arshad Warsi.
The film, completed in 2023, premiered at the Mumbai Film Festival and will stream on Zee5.
Dhulia, known for Paan Singh Tomar and Bandit Queen, says the story balances hunter and hunted.

The screenplay, inspired by a real dacoit, was adapted from a story by Piiyush Singh and Ram Yash Singh.
