Radico Khaitan Q1 FY27: Premiumisation Drives Strong Growth
Radico Khaitan is a company that makes vodka and other drinks.
In the first quarter of its 2027 financial year, it sold more drinks and made more money than before.
The part of its business that sells fancy drinks grew the most, helping the company earn more profit.
Even though some costs went up because of a crisis in West Asia, the company kept its supply chain working well.
New tax rules in Karnataka made its fancy drinks cheaper, so more people bought them.
The company also plans to keep selling in many countries and expects to grow even more in the rest of the year.
Q1 FY27 revenue rose 11.8% to ₹1,683.7 crore, EBITDA jumped 50.9% to ₹348.1 crore, margin increased to 20.7%.
Premium & Above (P&A) volumes surged 35.8% to 5.22 million cases, making up 53.1% of total IMFL volumes and driving 36% net sales growth to ₹970 crore.
P&A contributed 76.8% of total IMFL sales value, up from 66.7% a year earlier, and is expected to grow over 25% in FY27.
West Asia crisis caused cost pushes (glass, barley, freight) but supply chain remained intact; premiumisation helped offset margin impacts.
Radico plans to maintain guidance, expand exports to 107 countries, and benefit from India–UK FTA duty reductions on Vatted Malt Spirit.
