Service Roads to Merge with ORR to Ease Traffic During Metro Construction
The government is going to make some changes to the roads between Hebbal and Silk Board in Bangalore.
They will merge the smaller service roads with the main roads on the Outer Ring Road.
This is because they are building a metro and it's making traffic really bad.
This change is meant to make it easier for cars to get around while the metro is being built.
Officials hope this will make traffic move more smoothly, especially during busy times.
Service roads between Hebbal and Silk Board will merge with the main carriageway.
The move aims to ease traffic congestion due to metro construction.
The decision was made after a meeting with city officials and MLAs.
The integration is expected to temporarily widen the carriageway.
The measure will be implemented across a 40-50 km stretch.
