BJP Demands Urgent Action on Beed’s Escalating Water Crisis
Beed is facing a serious shortage of drinking water after drought was declared in the tehsil.
A group from the BJP met the town’s municipal officials to ask for help.
They want water tankers to reach homes that do not have piped water.
They also want the tankers tracked so people can see where the water is going.
The group asked officials to repair pumps and borewells and finish water-pipeline work.

The BJP warned of public agitation if timely measures were not taken and called for a grievance cell and action against non-performing officials.
