Petrol Bomb Attack Damages Car at Shillong Government Office

Petrol bombs were thrown at a government office in Shillong.

One bomb hit a car parked at the office.

The car caught fire at the front.

The employee who owned the car was outside at the time.

The fire was put out in four to five minutes.

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma visited the office afterward.

He said the government would help compensate the employee for the private car.

Police filed two reports and are investigating who threw the bombs and why.

A similar attack had happened at a police station four days earlier.
