Sunny Deol's Batwara 1947 Vs Emraan Hashmi's Awarapan 2 Box Office Clash
Two big Indian movies came out on the same day, August 14, during the Independence Day weekend.
One movie is called Batwara 1947 and stars Sunny Deol.
It is a serious story about what happened when India was split into two countries long ago.
The movie shows how hard life was for people who had to leave their homes.
A famous actor named Aamir Khan helped make this movie.
The other movie is called Awarapan 2 and stars Emraan Hashmi.
It is the second part of a very popular movie from 2007.
That movie is about feelings and exciting action.
Both movies are now showing in cinemas so people can choose which one to watch.
Early ticket sales show that Awarapan 2 might be doing a little bit better.
But nobody knows for sure which movie will win until people watch them and share their opinions.
The winner will depend on how much audiences like each movie over the weekend.
Batwara 1947 and Awarapan 2 both released in cinemas on August 14, 2026, during the Independence Day weekend.
Batwara 1947 is a historical drama directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, set against the Partition of India.

Awarapan 2, directed by Nitin Kakkar, brings Emraan Hashmi back as Shivam Pandit, continuing the world of the 2007 cult favourite Awarapan.
Early advance bookings reportedly favour Awarapan 2, but the final verdict depends on audience reactions, reviews and weekend occupancy.
