Jos Buttler Named Manchester Super Giants Captain After Markram Exit

There is a big cricket tournament called The Hundred happening in 2026.

A cricket team called the Manchester Super Giants has a captain who leads the players.

That captain, Aiden Markram, had to go back home to South Africa because of personal reasons.

So the team needed a new leader right away.

They chose Jos Buttler, a very experienced wicket-keeper batsman, to be the new captain.

Jos Buttler has led this team before in earlier years of the tournament.

The team also got a new player, Michael Bracewell from New Zealand, to take Aiden Markram's spot.

Before leaving, Aiden Markram had helped the team win its first two games, but then they lost three games in a row.

Now the team hopes Jos Buttler can help them win again and get into the knockout stage.
