X-Ray Breakdown Disrupts Patients at Indore Government Hospital

X-Ray Breakdown Disrupts Patients at Indore Government Hospital

Two X-ray machines at a large government hospital in Indore have stopped working.

Many patients need X-rays there every day.

One machine has been broken for about eight months.

The other recently stopped because a part was damaged.

The hospital is using a smaller portable machine mainly for chest X-rays.

Its working hours have been extended into the evening.

Patients needing other kinds of X-rays must go to the hospital’s old building.

This is especially difficult for people who are elderly, disabled, or seriously ill.

The hospital plans to bring another machine from the chest ward until repairs are finished.
