I.N.D.I.A Bloc MPs Protest, Demand Gyanesh Kumar’s Resignation

Opposition politicians from the I.N.D.I.A Bloc held a sit-in protest in Delhi.

They asked Gyanesh Kumar to resign.

They said they were worried about democracy and how the country is being governed.

The protest happened while there were arguments about alleged problems in Punjab municipal elections.

The Supreme Court ordered new polls in 50 constituencies there.

Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders also called for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resign.

Police did not allow protests at Jantar Mantar, saying there were logistical challenges.

The opposition plans to take its concerns to President Droupadi Murmu.
