Meghalaya Police Form Five-Member SIT To Probe Shillong Violence
Meghalaya Police created a special five-person team to investigate violence in Shillong.
The violence happened during and after a rally and black flag march on August 19.
Police said property was damaged and some people, including officers, were assaulted.
The team will study CCTV footage, videos and photographs.
It will try to identify people who wore masks or hid their vehicle number plates.
