Amazon Expects Great Indian Festival to Break Previous Records
Great Indian Festival to ‘break previous records’ as early deals see 35-40% growth: Amazon India executive · livemint.com

Amazon has started its Great Indian Festival sale in India.

The company says special deals offered before the main sale grew by about 35–40%.

Amazon expects this year’s festival to do better than its earlier ones, but that is a prediction, not a final result.

It has added more places to store and sort orders and more delivery stations.

Amazon says it increased its overall fulfilment capacity by nearly half compared with last year.

Its faster-delivery service, Amazon Now, is now available in 120 cities.

The company aims to bring that service to 300 cities by the end of the year.

Eligible SBI card customers can get a 10% instant discount, and Prime members can get an extra 5% discount on products covered by the offer.
