CPI Urges Tamil Nadu to Regularize Differently-Abled Temporary Employees
The Communist Party of India (CPI) is asking the Tamil Nadu government to make thousands of differently-abled workers permanent employees.
These workers have been working for many years but don't have job security or the same benefits as regular government employees.
The government had a rule saying these workers should be made permanent after two years, but it hasn't been followed.
So, the workers and their families are protesting to demand their rights.
The CPI is supporting them and says the government should talk to the workers and fix this problem quickly.
CPI urges Tamil Nadu government to regularize differently-abled temporary employees who have served for over two years.
Thousands of differently-abled employees work on temporary arrangements without permanent status or equal pay.
Government Order No. 151 mandates regularization after two years of service, but it has not been implemented.
Protest by differently-abled employees and their families started on December 29 in Chennai.
CPI supports the protest and demands immediate action from the government to resolve the issue.
