Mizoram Seeks Japanese Language Center in Aizawl
The Mizoram government wants to help young people learn Japanese.
They've asked a company called NSDCI to open a language center in Aizawl.
Currently, Mizo youths travel to Noida for language lessons.
However, this is difficult because it is far away.
The goal is to make it easier for young people to learn Japanese.
This is because many Mizo youths want to work in caregiving and nursing jobs in Japan.
NSDCI has agreed to consider the proposal.
More than 100 youths from Mizoram already work in Japan.
The Mizoram government requested NSDCI to open a Japanese language center in Aizawl.
Malsawmzuala Ralte, chairman of Mizoram Youth Commission, met with NSDCI CEO Alok Kumar.
The current practice involves sending youths to Noida for Japanese language learning.
The proposed center aims to make language learning more accessible for Mizo youths.
