AAIB to Submit Air India Crash Report by Year-End

On June 12, an Air India plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, India, resulting in a large number of fatalities.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and the final report is expected by the end of the year.

Preliminary findings indicate that the fuel supply to both engines was cut off.

The pilots, Captain Sumeet Sabharwal and First Officer Clive Kunder, had extensive flying experience.

The father of Captain Sabharwal has requested a formal government inquiry due to concerns over the initial findings and selective leaks.

The investigation is currently reviewing the flight data and cockpit voice recorders.
