Lucknow Launches Safe Ride Project for Public Transportation
Imagine you're getting into an auto-rickshaw in Lucknow.
Now, thanks to a new project called 'Safe Ride', every auto, tempo, and e-rickshaw will have a special code, like a secret key.
This code will show who the driver is, helping to keep you safe.
Drivers need to sign up online by the end of August.
If they don't, or if they have something wrong, like a criminal record, they won't get the code.
From September, if a vehicle doesn't have the code, it might be taken away.
The goal is to make sure drivers are safe and legal, making rides safer for everyone!
Lucknow launches 'Project Safe Ride' for autos, tempos, and e-rickshaws.
QR codes displaying driver details will be mandatory for these vehicles.
Drivers must register online by August 31 at a specific website.
Non-compliant vehicles will face seizure starting September 1.
The project aims to enhance passenger safety and transparency.
