Israel Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon
Israel bombed some places in southern Lebanon that belong to a group called Hezbollah.
This happened a day after Lebanon's army said they were trying to take away Hezbollah's weapons.
Hezbollah is a group that gets support from Iran.
Israel said they were hitting places where Hezbollah keeps and makes weapons.
There have been fights between Israel and Hezbollah before, but they stopped in November 2024.
Even though there's a truce, Israel hasn't completely left the border areas.
Some people think Israel might attack Hezbollah on a big scale if Lebanon doesn't stop Hezbollah from having weapons by the end of 2025.
Israel conducted air strikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon on Friday.
The strikes targeted weapons storage sites and a production facility used by Hezbollah.
Lebanese state media reported heavy strikes in the Iqlim al-Tuffah and Jezzine districts.
The Lebanese army had announced efforts to disarm Hezbollah the day before the strikes.
Israel and Hezbollah have observed a ceasefire since November 2024, following a conflict that resulted in over 4,000 deaths.
