Indian-Origin Couple Donates $20 Million for UNT AI College
Vikas and Anu are giving $20 million to help create a new AI college at UNT.
AI is technology that can perform tasks that usually require human intelligence.
The couple believes AI will be very important in the future.
They want students to learn more than simply how to use AI tools.
Students will also learn how to build and understand AI systems.
They will be encouraged to ask questions about AI and help govern it.
The college will teach responsible ways to use intelligent systems.
The goal is to prepare both the people who create AI and the people who help guide it.
Vikas Sinha and his wife, Anu, are donating $20 million to UNT.
The gift will support the creation of a new artificial intelligence college.
