MSCB Raises Funds to Aid District Cooperative Banks
Imagine a big bank called MSCB is helping smaller banks in Maharashtra.
MSCB raised a lot of money by selling bonds, like asking people to lend them money.
They plan to lend some of this money to a bank in Nagpur that's had some trouble.
This Nagpur bank had problems a long time ago because of a big money issue.
The big bank wants to lend to other struggling banks too.
The money will help these smaller banks stay afloat and help people.
The big bank is run by a special manager who knows how to fix problems.
MSCB raised Rs400 crore through bond issuance.
The bank plans to seek additional time from RBI to raise another Rs100 crore.
