Mumbai Police Book Business Partner After Young Man’s Death

Mumbai Police Book Business Partner After Young Man’s Death

Laxman was a 21-year-old man who lived in Kurla, Mumbai.

He was working in a fiber optics business with Manish Mohan Pardeshi.

Laxman’s mother told police that Pardeshi often criticized and harassed him.

She said Laxman wanted to leave the partnership.

On October 3, his family found him hanging inside their home.

He was taken to a hospital, where doctors said he had died.

Police have booked Pardeshi under a law concerning abetment of suicide.

The booking follows the mother’s complaint and is not a finding of guilt.

Police say they are investigating.
