Assam Tribune Launches Yearbook 2026, Releases Literary Anthology

The Assam Tribune, a trusted English daily in Northeast India, launched its first-ever Yearbook 2026 at the Assam Book Fair in Guwahati.

The Yearbook is a detailed record of important events from 2025 across various fields like politics, economy, and culture.

It's meant to be a useful reference for students, researchers, and professionals.

Additionally, the newspaper's publishing wing, Sahitya-Prakash, released a special book called Gariyoshir Nirbachita Galpa-1.

This book is a collection of 40 short stories selected from 547 original stories published in the Assamese literary magazine Gariyoshi.

The anthology features works by famous Assamese writers and is dedicated to the memory of a respected journalist, Prafulla Govinda Baruah.

Visitors to the book fair can buy both the Yearbook and the anthology at The Assam Tribune's stall.
