Drishyam 3 Nears Rs 400 Crore Worldwide After First Week
Drishyam 3 had a strong first week in cinemas.
On its seventh day, it earned Rs 13 crore after ticket sales in India were counted without taxes.
By then, it had made Rs 245.50 crore net in India and Rs 383.60 crore worldwide before deductions.
This means it earned more in India than the earlier Drishyam films.
It was also Ajay Devgn’s second-biggest film in India among movies where he was a lead actor.
The articles say there were no new Hindi releases that week, giving it less direct competition.
Its makers and distributors were watching to see whether it could reach Rs 400 crore worldwide.
The film earned Rs 13 crore net in India on day seven, across 15,758 shows.
Its India total reached Rs 245.50 crore net and Rs 294.60 crore gross.

It surpassed Drishyam 2 and Drishyam to become the franchise’s highest-grossing film in India.
