Climate Change and La Niña Cause Deadly Southern Africa Floods

Scientists have found that the recent floods in southern Africa, which have caused many deaths and a lot of damage, were made worse by climate change and a weather pattern called La Niña.

The oceans are getting warmer because of greenhouse gases, which makes the rain heavier and more frequent.

This has led to very bad flooding in countries like Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Eswatini.

The floods have destroyed buildings, roads, and even wildlife reserves like the Kruger National Park.

Experts say that if we don't reduce the use of fossil fuels and prepare better for such disasters, these kinds of floods will keep happening and getting worse.
