Three police booked for abetting suicide in Maharashtra

A young man named Imran Khalil Belure from Aurad Shahajani in Maharashtra ended his life on December 27.

Before he died, he posted a video on social media accusing three police officers of harassing him.

The police officers were Assistant Police Inspector Vitthal Durpade, Constable Tanaji Tile, and Head Constable Vilas Patodkar.

After the man's death, his family and other people in the town were very upset.

They protested outside the police station and demanded that the police officers be punished.

The police initially registered the death as an accident, but after the protests, they registered a case of abetment of suicide against the three officers.

The man's family was only satisfied and allowed the burial after the police promised to take legal action against the officers.
