IWG Plans to Triple India Workspaces Within Three Years

IWG Plans to Triple India Workspaces Within Three Years

International Workplace Group, or IWG, provides places where people and companies can work flexibly.

It currently has 125 centres in India and plans to grow to more than 400 within three years.

The company also has 200 additional locations in development.

It wants to bring its small, unmanned Openoffice workspaces to India by late 2026.

These spaces would let customers enter, work and leave without regular staff being present.

IWG is also exploring special spaces for clinics, medical work and warehouses.

The company says flexible offices are becoming popular because they can cost less and require less investment.

Its expansion is limited by the difficulty of finding buildings with required safety and occupancy approvals.
