DBS Bank Projects India's Economic Growth at 6.7% Through 2040
A bank called DBS Bank thinks India's economy will grow a lot between 2025 and 2040.
They predict it will grow about 6.7% every year on average, which is faster than China and other nearby countries.
If things go really well, it could grow even faster!
This means India's economy will get much bigger, and people might earn more money.
The bank also identified four important things that will help India grow: developing new things, making more different kinds of products, using technology more, and taking care of the environment.
This growth could help India reach important goals set by its government.
Also, a credit company recently gave India a better rating, which is a good sign for its economy.
DBS Bank forecasts India's economy to grow at an average of 6.7% from 2025 to 2040.
This projected growth rate is expected to surpass that of China and the ASEAN-6 region.
Under a 'bull case' scenario, India's growth could average between 7.3% and 7.5%.
Key drivers for growth are identified as Development, Diversification, Digitalisation, and Decarbonisation.
India's nominal GDP could reach approximately $11.5 trillion by 2040, with per capita income projected to exceed $7,000.
