Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he had another 'very friendly conversation' with Prime Minister Narendra Modi — the second call between the two leaders in two weeks.
In a Hebrew-language video statement shared on X, Netanyahu said support for Israel in India is 'immense' and that it is being translated into security and economic relations.
The call came about a week after the leaders last spoke on August 6, when they reviewed progress in the India-Israel strategic partnership and exchanged views on West Asia.
According to the Prime Minister's Office, the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit and agreed to remain in close contact.
In July, India and Israel concluded the second round of negotiations for a proposed Free Trade Agreement, aiming for an early, balanced and comprehensive pact.
