Waaree to Acquire 55% of ASPL

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd is buying a big part of another company called Associated Power Structures Ltd (ASPL) for ₹1,225 crore.

This helps Waaree grow beyond just making renewable energy to also include building the infrastructure needed to transmit that energy.

The deal is expected to finish by April 30, 2026.

Waaree's CFO, Manmohan Sharma, says this is a big step for the company to become a fully integrated energy transition company, which they call Waaree 2.0.

This means they will be able to handle more parts of renewable energy projects, from making the energy to delivering it to homes and businesses.

ASPL is a well-established company with operations all over India and in some international markets.

Waaree has been buying other companies recently to become a bigger player in the energy sector.
