JNTUA and German University Launch Integrated Engineering Programme Admissions
JNTUA is a university in a city called Anantapur in India.
It has teamed up with a university in Germany.
Together, they made a special study programme for engineering students.
Three students got letters welcoming them into the programme.
Two of the students will study Computer Science Engineering.
One student will study Electronics and Communication Engineering.
For the first three years, the students will study in India.
After that, they will go to Germany for more study and a master's degree.
This gives them a chance to learn in two countries and better chances of finding jobs abroad.
JNTUA and a German university have commenced admissions to integrated engineering programmes.
Three students received admission letters on Tuesday — two from Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and one from Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
Students will study for three years at JNTUA's Anantapur campus, then complete a BTech year and an MSc programme in Germany.
The admissions were held on the directions of Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. Sudarsana Rao, with Registrar Prof. B. Durga Prasad handing over the letters.
The programme aims to give students international exposure and improve their prospects of securing employment abroad.
