Ashok Leyland Partners with China's CALB for EV Battery Production
Ashok Leyland, an Indian company that makes trucks and buses, is teaming up with a Chinese company called CALB to make batteries for electric vehicles (EVs) in India.
They plan to work together for 20 years.
At first, they will bring in battery parts from China and put them together in India.
Later, they will start designing and making the parts in India.
They plan to spend a lot of money to develop these batteries.
