PMK Founder Warns Son Against Using Party Name
The leader of a political party in India, S Ramadoss, has warned his son, Anbumani, not to use the party's name, flag, or symbol.
Ramadoss says his son has no legal right to represent the party.
The son, Anbumani, was expelled from the party earlier this year.
Ramadoss also warned others not to make any election deals with Anbumani.
Meanwhile, Anbumani has expelled a loyal supporter of his father from the party.
This is part of a bigger fight between the father and son over who controls the party.
PMK founder S Ramadoss issued a public notice warning his son Anbumani against using the party's name, flag, or symbol.
Anbumani was expelled by the PMK in September 2023 and has no legal authority to represent the party.
Ramadoss cited a Delhi High Court verdict to assert his control over the PMK.
Anbumani expelled party honorary president G K Mani for alleged anti-party activities.
Ramadoss warned political parties and individuals against entering into electoral pacts with Anbumani.
