MCW 2026 Innovation Challenge Launched
Mumbai Climate Week and the National Stock Exchange have started a big contest called the MCW 2026 Innovation Challenge.
This contest is for people and groups from countries in the Global South who have new ideas to help the environment.
The ideas should be about food, making cities stronger against climate change, and using cleaner energy.
People who enter can get help and advice, and the best ideas will be shown off at the Mumbai Climate Week in 2026.
The National Stock Exchange's boss, Shri Ashishkumar Chauhan, said this contest is important for finding new ways to help India become greener and more ready for the future.
They also talked about other things they are doing to help the environment, like special financial tools and bonds.
All these efforts are to help India reach its goal of using clean energy by the year 2070.
Mumbai Climate Week (MCW) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) launch the MCW 2026 Innovation Challenge to spotlight climate solutions from the Global South.
