SpaceX's Starship Completes Successful Test Flight
SpaceX launched its big Starship rocket on another test flight.
This time, it carried 20 advanced Starlink satellites.
The rocket took off from Texas and flew halfway around the world before landing softly in the Indian Ocean.
All the satellites worked well and talked to older Starlinks already in space.
The rocket's heat shield was tested with special tiles to see how it handles the heat.
NASA watched the flight because they want to use Starship to land astronauts on the moon.
SpaceX also plans to use Starship to go to Mars and take tourists there.
The flight was delayed a few times because of technical problems and bad weather.
SpaceX launched the Starship rocket with 20 advanced Starlink satellites on July 25, 2026.
The rocket flew halfway around the world and splashed down softly in the Indian Ocean.
All 20 Starlinks were deployed successfully and communicated with older Starlinks in orbit.
The heat shield was tested with black and white tiles to simulate missing tiles.
NASA monitored the flight for potential use as a lunar lander for the Artemis III mission.

Successful Launch and Deployment
SpaceX's Progress
SpaceX successfully launched the Starship rocket and deployed 20 advanced Starlink satellites.
Technical Challenges
The booster failed to relight enough engines for a controlled return, resulting in a crash into the Gulf of Mexico.
Heat Shield Testing
SpaceX's Progress
The heat shield performed well during reentry, with sensors and cameras providing valuable data.
Technical Challenges
Some thermal tiles were deliberately painted white to simulate missing tiles, indicating ongoing concerns about its reliability.
