Adilabad Officials Seek Resolution on ROFR Patta Land Issues

This news is about tribal farmers in a part of India called Telangana.

These farmers have special papers called 'pattas' that give them rights to farm forest land.

A law called the Forest Rights Act was made in 2006 to help tribal people get these rights.

Recently, government officials visited some villages to check how the law is working.

They held a big meeting called a 'public hearing' where farmers could talk about their problems.

The farmers said it is hard to farm their land and get what they need.

Some farmers said they cannot pass their land papers to their family when a family member passes away.

Others said they are still waiting for rights to use community forests.

Government officials listened to all these problems and promised to help.

They plan to write a letter to the state government asking for solutions.
